St. Joseph was formed as a mission of Saint Mary Star of the Sea in the 1950’s at the location of the current offices, “Cordier Hall.” In the 1980’s, as the congregation of expanding beyond its mission seasonal origins, the current church at 414 Buckroe Ave was constructed.
Until 2011 and the creation of the Pensinsula Cluster, Saint Joseph parish was administered by The Redemptorists.
