In 2011, the Peninsula Cluster of parishes was formed with Reverend Monsignor Walter Barret as its pastor. The Redemptorists had an interest in all three of the cluster’s parishes at one time or another, with Saint Vincent de Paul and Saint Joseph both starting as missions of Saint Mary Star of the Sea.
